FIRST LINE SUPERVISORS
DESCRIPTION:
First-line supervisors/managers of helpers, laborers, and material movers, hand supervise and coordinate the activities of helpers, laborers, or material movers; they verify work order and schedules, times of shipment and mode of transportation; quote prices to customers and resolve customer complaints; and record information, they assign duties and work schedules. First-line supervisors/managers of helpers, laborers, and material movers also inspect equipment to ensure conformance to standards; observe work procedures and train/instruct workers.SKILLS:
